For the course itself, I had a fabulous time. Although shifting my major from geography to finance was challenging, I am grateful that Stirling accepted me as a student and provided me with the opportunity to pursue this new area of interest. From the very first day of classes, I was warned that this course would require significant time invested in preparation. Having lecturers that were willing to assist me was indeed a plus. It was difficult for me to go through the course as a student with almost no prior experience in the field of finance and investments; nevertheless, every teacher was really helpful in answering our questions and guiding us through the material presented in the seminars. When I was a freshman in college, I remember i was panicking because I didn’t understand the material and everyone else around me appeared to. It was the for financial reporting module. after that I confronted my professor and let him know I was having a hard time. I told him I was lost and concerned that I wouldn’t do well enough in his module. “We’ll get through this” he reassured me, “so relax”. He even offered his office as a place for me to work on sample exam questions. I will never forget his incredible generosity and genuine concern for myself and my fellow students.

The enrollment in investment analysis was low, with only a few students exceeding that number. Teachers will be able to identify us more easily, and was able to assist us better. We were a pretty exclusive group, so I appreciate that they could recognise us right away.

However, I only rated it at 4 stars because, having completed the course, I find it to be largely theoretical. Although I appreciate that this is a CFA-affiliated course, which implies that it was developed by CFA and is prepared in accordance with CFA’s standards (which is fantastic), I feel that I would benefit from additional hands-on experience applying the concepts we’ve covered in class.

Apart from that, I’ve had a fantastic trip overall. I’m happy with my decision to study at Stirling since I was able to connect with fascinating people from all around the world.

It was a great adventure to meet a lot of students from different international countries. The school’s location is perfect and ambient environment with top notch educational facilities. Lesson delivery of top class
