I really enjoyed my time at university, the course had modules I found intresting and have helped set me up in a role suitable since graduation. I would recommend anyone wanting to study food. I felt very supported by all the tutors and course mates.
View moreThe University is a hub of diversity, excitement and opportunity. I loved how the course was hands on and there was a wide curriculum for my course in Biomedical Science. My peers and I studied during the pandemic and we were supported throughout. The libraries were 24/7 which was a great help as well.

View moreEnjoyed the laboratory-based programme, which was accredited by the IBMS giving me the option of working as a BMS at the NHS if I wanted. I also received a lot of support to get a placement in terms of the availability of placement adverts on the portal and the careers advice department helping out with CVs and mock interviews.
My tutors were very helpful and supportive. The disability support available was phenomenal. They took my mental health seriously and allocated funds for me to get some help. There was also a range of university clubs and sports resources available
This university particularly makes sure that university teachers help the students in any way possible and that’s the best part. It also helps students to discover their talents and push them to find a career out of it.
View moreI do like my current course at Sheffield Hallam University because most modules are delivered by different means as seminars, practicals and lecturing. This is resulting in lots of understanding of the course. I do like my lectures a lot, they seem knowledgeable.
However, I don’t like the lectures recorded. It does not allow students to ask questions
The modules were all varied and interesting and the staff are really approachable and helpful. The course included work-based experience which we could apply to future job roles, giving us confidence in applying for a variety of posts in our industry.
View moreReally good facilities and teaching. Sheffield’s a great city to study with good nightlife and loads of outdoor spaces. Enjoyed the collegiate campus setting close to Ecclesall Road and near Redcliffe park.
View moreThe teachers were all very approachable and it was made easy to ask for help and support. On the whole, the classes were interesting and informative, however, student-teacher interaction was poor which made it difficult to stay focused in the longer periods. Student life was diverse and friendly. A great number of societies and sports to get involved in which all did their best to be welcoming.
