St Andrews is such a tiny place, but that is the reason for its tight knit community. I have met my best friends and literally don’t want to leave! Facilities in general, including accommodations and lecture theatres, are to a great standard. I have loved every part of my studies so far, and have made great connections with some lecturers. It’s so easy to connect with people because there is such a diverse group of students in the town. St Andrews is fondly known as the “bubble”, which can easily feel a bit small, however it’s also super easy to get to Dundee and Edinburgh to escape uni life for a day! I would recommend this uni to anyone and will always thank myself for choosing this place to study and spend 4 years of my life at.

Student life at St. Andrews is really fulfilling and wholesome! It is a close-knit community and very supportive of international students. There are numerous clubs and societies that are very inclusive

St. Andrews is called the bubble and rightly so. It’s like a home away from home. Everyone here is extremely helpful and it provides one with everything you could ask for from a fulfilling university experience.

Studying at St Andrews has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I now understand why we’ve been ranked #1 on student satisfaction. It’s close to impossible to be sad in a place like St Andrews, it’s like you’re living in a painting. Since it’s a student town, it’s not hard to make friends and it was really easy to settle in. Apart from finding a new love for learning, I have found myself growing on a personal level as well. There’s something for everyone here and I cannot recommend it enough.

St Andrews is an experience I am so thankful for. From my first year, the transition to a different country was so easy as the student body is very welcoming. Most of the lecturers, especially in the Psychology and Management department go out of their way to help you even for the smallest of matters. I used to do Economics as well but dropped it due to the rigid course structure and more unapproachable faculty. The university provided student accommodation is very well furnished and helps provide a great sense of community, especially as a new student. However, the residential prices are quite steep if you want to stay central in St.Andrews. One of my favourite things about this uni are the traditions like May Dip and Raisin, which really bring together the uni experience and the many many balls and events that help alleviate the slight boredom one may feel due to living in a small town. In that aspect, St. Andrews is secluded, having very few shopping options and doesn’t even have a train station close by, which makes travel a bit tough.
