I am currently studying bachelors biomedical science at Queen’s. My course is very hands-on and requires a lot of practical and lab-based work. Queen’s has made sure to provide my course mates and I the best of facilities and equipment to help make this experience more comfortable and understandable. The Medical and biology building is very well structured and it is almost impossible to get lost. The doctors and professors are very approachable and they have good knowledge regarding their subject. They make sure to explain every detail and entertain all kinds of questions, no matter the hour. Although the weather in Belfast may not be ideal throughout the year, the people are very welcoming and the warm. Even more, Queen’s has many facilities to help make university life better. In terms of student life, Belfast is an excellent place. Away from the bustling city with services matching them. It is a very student-friendly city and is safe. I live at walking distance from the campus and my accommodation is very reasonable and affordable compared to living expenses in big cities like London. Apart from this, Belfast has many wonderful places to visit for a weekend getaway’s and tourists. I would definitely recommend Queen’s and Belfast to students who are looking to apply and be a part of this family.
