QUB 1980s

University life was great. The highlight was the students union and the courses were nearly seen as the extra bits. Teaching was very traditional, lecturer talking students trying furiously to take down notes. I’m sure computers would be more familiar now and would take away the stress. Computer science involved writing a program, leaving it in a pigeon hole and waiting a week to hopefully see a long scroll of green paper with the correct outcomes.
A brilliant experience though
