Student review [#21087] for Architecture
at Oxford Brookes University

Oxford Brookes University is a good university if you are considering architecture. Multiple courses are available which specialize in architecture. My course is MArchD which is a RIBA part 2 programme. This university stands out from the others as they allow you to choose your specialization for year one from six different options you won’t find in any other university. This gives you the benefit to complete your part 2 with an additional specialization in the field. As we can expect in any architectural school, the teaching and amenities are relatively good. There are various societies one can participate in if you want international exposure. The course is well structured, but there were a few shortcomings, primarily due to the pandemic restrictions. I would recommend this university if you want to balance various experiences in your student life. But if learning is the only goal, you need to be focused as few distractions are in the way.
