I like how at Nottingham Trent University you get a lot of support and guidance in all areas of university life. We have financial support, mental health support as well as career advisors who are readily available. I would also mention that tutors are quite easily contactable however it does depend on the module. There are a range of societies to join and many networking opportunities to help academically, professionally or socially. Another thing I’ll mention is that the facilities are great and where my campus is it’s very easy to get around the city.

Nottingham Trent University is a place where professionals for job market are produced every year. I am happy to be graduated from Nottingham Trent University. My law degree from Nottingham Trent University has helped me to get a job from a good organization of the UK. The real life learning from professional teachers and club activities of Nottingham Trent University have helped me a lot to build up my career. I happily suggest everyone to come and learn inside Nottingham Trent University.

With three campuses in Trent, City, Clifton and Blakenhurst, all three campuses are very beautiful and modern. The city campus is my home base and all accommodation and the city center are within walking distance. Newton’s building is very impressive and the doctor and tutor are very friendly and willing to answer questions and assist. I have had a great experience so far. They improved my academic and professional skills. The university offers many opportunities to help you improve your social and professional skills and the subjects taught are of great interest.

I like. NTU has Good teaching methodology, quality training programs are well organized, buildings and training facilities are well maintained and modern. There are good clubs and societies that students can join. The library is well equipped and the study facilities are good.

In general, Nottingham Trent provided adequate support to students throughout lockdown. Teachers were very friendly, and when it was finally possible to enter the campus again they were welcoming and understanding of our situation, being that we had spent our first year of University remote. There is also very good care for those with mental health issues. As someone who struggles myself, there were many outlets I could go to, not limited to those professionally hired for these situations, but also class tutors. The layout of the school is fairly easy to follow, Maps are situated around to help those who may be lost, and tutors and other members of staff are often located on campus and are more than happy to help. In regards to improvements, I believe that more support could have been given regarding exams. Exams are on a take-and-do basis, somewhat comparable to coursework, yet you aren’t required to follow OSCOLA referencing guides, however some tutors have been harsh in this sense, forgetting we haven’t done exams due to COVID since we were 16.

My first year of university was the best year of my life. I made so many friends, ended up living in very rubbish student halls. After the first year, we had six months of freedom until COVID-19 happened and all our seminars and lectures were transferred to online learning and I felt like I was missing out on the “university” experience. My degree was also not what I expected but I did learn a lot in my time. Overall, the university is definitely fun without COVID-19.

This University provided an excellent course and executed with proficient and experienced staff. There was a lot of face to face teaching and input. The campus life at the Clifton site was great fun and welcoming. The city itself was great for students with lots of great nightlife and entertainment.
The only negative is that the University is not as highly regarded as it should be .
I have no hesitation in recommending it to any undergraduate. It helped me to achieve a 2:1 in my degree and gave me the attributes to go and pursue a job in my chosen career in film and television. A 32 year career which is still ongoing. Also I still have the three best friends that I met on my first day at Nottingham Trent.
