Well renowned red brick university and a great city to live in. Dentistry is a good degree to achieve and opens lots of doors for the future. The campus was good but needs modernising and the general feeling in the city of Manchester was buzzing.
View moreThe university of manchester has been a fantastic place for me to continue my education. Not only are the courses renowned all over the world, but the university has the largest student body of any UK university. As a result there are so many society’s and extracurricular learning opportunity’s. In particular I have been involved in the women’s football team and the Manchester Undergraduate Dental Research Society which I have thoroughly loved. The dental school is good and has a focus on restorative dentistry (fillings, root canals, crowns and dentures etc.) in my opinion. I will however say, our learning on Oral Surgery is limited and if this is something of interest to you then It is something to be aware of.
