The University of Manchester is great in terms of student support. They’re really there for you whatever you need, professional and friendly whatever your circumstances. They also offer interdisciplinary units which means if you’re on a certain course, you can take some modules from another course for example if you’re doing Biology you can take a History unit or a language unit. I think this is great because it’s not generally a thing in the Uk like it is in other countries such as America. They also provide lots of support with graduate careers and also student jobs while at university.

My course here is a complete and balanced package for those who want to learn bioinformatics in the field of genetics. The course and lectures are well planned. All the activities that are allotted to us are brainstorming. Overall I will definitely recommend this course for those who want to build their career in Genetics and Genomics.

A very professional environment in which high-class lectures and tutorial teachers are provided in lectures and practical classes. Gives you a great insight into the world of BioMed and what’s to come. Heavy workload but it is to be expected with any bio-med course.

I study Biomedical Sciences and I absolutely love the facilities and research that happens at Manchester. The professors and lecturers are very helpful and explain each concept very well. They are always available after hours too for any questions a student may have.
The student life and experience is quite top tier in manchester. It does not lack in the diversity aspect at all and you can find any kind of food in the city from any country you pick on the globe!
I’d definitely recommend this university, especially to international students.

There is no doubt that University of Manchester is one of the most renowned universities in the world. And like everything, my university has also its advantages and disadvantages.

To me, the best part of UOM is its diversity and acceptance of different cultures. They make their international students feel welcomed and at home by arranging several events catered to us. Their student ambassadors and staff aid students with the smallest inconvenience and always willing to help. Coming to the academic aspect, UOM has exceptionally top-notch professors and lecturers. I have never enjoyed learning as much as I do now. They have their own website called ‘BlackBoard’ where all the necessary information and updates regarding academics are uploaded. In addition, lectures are recorded which are uploaded on their podcast website. This is a good initiative since students can always refer back to the lectures if they forget anything. UOM has good building structures which are modern yet have a touch of traditional English architecture.

The downside of UOM would be their halls. Firstly, you cannot rank your dorm choices so you might be assigned to any dorm that they like. This is quite troublesome for students. Dorms are essentially our homes for the rest of the year and if it is something that we are not comfortable with, it can be mentally draining. In my course, BSc Biology, I have a lot of additional reading to do besides the lectures which is very tiring. But that is just something that comes with maintaining their reputation in the global market.

It is a good university everyone learnt something at that university. I can do school student projects. I have some experience because I did so many projects so I can do it well. Now I want to earn money online so I try to join here.

It’s a beautiful place here. Fast assistance is available at reception. Close to University of Manchester and the city center, the location is quite convenient. With your flatmate, you can participate in a variety of activities.

The University of Manchester is a great learning institution full of very friendly students and friendly community. It provides students with a variety of opportunities to explore. There is a lot of inclusivity and cultural exchange. I also loved the diversity in this University.

The program is really interesting and the fact that most of the modules are optional allows you to tailor the modules you choose to what suits you best. The course is being taught in a blended way, this allows you to do the lectures in your own time and also allows for in person.

At the University of Manchester, it isn’t very difficult to manage your work ethic. During tough assignments and projects, the university provides you with all the resources you need. Including personalised libraries for different fields, a strong mental wellbeing program to help manage your work and excellent professors that help you when you need help. During more relaxed times, the university offers a range of fun activities to attend, or you can enrol yourself in countless societies and clubs to really get involved and have fun.
