i have to admit it. there’s no perfect educational system, but as far as efforts go this University has that edge in it. i won’t say they’re constantly evolving, but at this pace they’re probably doing just fine.
the devotion from all staff i’ve encountered is proof of that.

I have been here a couple of months now and to be honest I do not feel like I’ve progressed much. I do believe that partly that is due to myself however the teaching style of just teachers reading from a PowerPoint isn’t engaging with me. Right now I feel my University experience is just stagnant and I’m just going about my days with no goal in mind which I hope to Change, whether that is through being more Social or finding the lessons more engaging is yet to be seen.

MMU is a very welcoming space and everyone in there is helpful and perform their job very well by helping you further understand if you have any quires as well as there are so many extra curricular activities you can participate in and easy to make friends.

Overall, I enjoy going university and I enjoy my classes a lot. There are small things like the uncertainty of the strikes and which teachers/classes are going to be effected and I think that there should be building allocated to certain subjects like I think the Fashion students should be in the Fashion/Art buildings instead all around the entire campus.

I love MMU as a university, it has great facilities and resources. The university really help you with everything, and you can always find the information you need at the student hub- they have extra drop in sessions for things you may be interested in, for example when getting a placement there’s so many sessions you can join for different helpful aspects of the process.

I like how the lectures are all online and easy to access once they’ve been uploaded. Their moodle page is also very organised and everything set up to be clear and coherent. The teachers are also very invested in making sure you do well.

Given my time at MMU, they have shown that they value that students understand content, lecturers ensure that students are always on track, with consistent personal tutor drop-ins and extra assessments where students can receive feedback which helps progress.

The university offers extra help with a grant for students from low-income backgrounds and students who have from mental disorders which could possibly impact learning and university life. Support package helps towards accommodation costs, food and other university essentials.

I like the social aspect of the university as it is pretty diverse and welcomes people from all backgrounds to join in and has many opportunities and activities to go do and go for. The uni lecturers are very nice and understanding and always makes sure to include everyone.

Good facilities in a great location, sometimes it can be a little bit difficult to resolve issues which could be down to a lack of staff but overall would recommend to anyone who would be interested.

The academic facilities and quality of teaching were excellent, interesting lectures and good infrastructures, the location of the uni was perfect, close to both the train station and the centre. plus manchester is one of the biggest student cities, there are four other universities and you get to have all the amenities and freedom of choice in restaurants and activities, and with a very reasonable cost of living. In general MMU is a really open and free thinking place and there are so many opportunities available in all aspects of student life!
