I started my masters in January 2023 at Manchester Metropolitan University. It has been really helpful in terms of teaching, learning and understanding. It has also helped me gain working experience in the UK through Jobs4students where I have worked as a Student Ambassador, Digital Mentor, International Conversion Caller, Invigilator and Social Media Intern. There’s also been a lot of social events to help with network and a lot to help with real life such as a practice assessment centre.
View moreI am enjoying my degree at Manchester Metropolitan University. The university has great student support and the online platform (Moodle) is very user-friendly. All materials are uploaded to Moodle and all books/articles can be found in the online library. The whole degree is 100% coursework, which I prefer since I do not enjoy exams, and the assignment briefs are the first things to be uploaded to moodle. This means assignments can be worked on throughout the course so there is no last-minute anxiety.
The teaching methodology has changed this year from block teaching to semester teaching, which I prefer.
I would prefer to have a mixture of online and in-person classes as they are all in-person at the moment. However, overall, it is a great degree so far.
