It’s nice that it’s a small town, and I can have smaller classes with teachers who know me well. This makes it easier to seek guidance and ask questions. It’s a shame that I’m far from home, but the surrounding farmland is reminiscent of home. The campus is beautiful and very green.

We have tasks that need finishing, every semester we receive various tasks depending on the subject we’re studying. Some are solo, and some are group projects. The project-focused way of learning can offer a nice switch from the usual exams, especially for those who aren’t fans of exams.

I gotta say, no educational system is flawless, but this university is really putting in the effort. They might not be changing all the time, but they seem to be on the right track. The dedication from all the staff I’ve met shows that.

So, basically, the class, the people, and the environment all boost my mood, especially the surroundings. There were times when I felt really stressed, but oddly enough, just being there helped me get through those tough moments.

I am currently enrolled in a MSc Cyber Security program at Manchester Metropolitan University. My course modules are very modern and apt, these include weekly lab sections that “walks the talk”

It gives students hands-on experience to practice what have been taught theoretically.

A perfectly organised lecture calendar that fosters continuity and understanding by paring relevant topics and courses systematically.

The university also has loads of resources available to students to help them learn, gain relevant skills and aid their general well-being.

Spending more time in the lab than in the class room, working on different types of projects with different types of tools. Manchester Metropolitan University is trying for their students.they bring real life scenarios to the class room and the lab for students to experiment and solve.

The campuses for the university are all close by, meaning travel between buildings is easy and convenient to attend lectures, labs, seminars etc.

The facilities available at MMU are great, with a 24/7 library, sports clubs, daily activities etc.

My course provided interesting projects & assignments, with freedom to explore and develop skills that you want. However, there is little mentorship so when it comes to learning new skills you have yourself. Although, from networking I believe this to the case in many universities.

What I liked about my university experience is that every time I’m in university It makes me want to do my work. The facilities are amazing and are state of the ark, especially the business building. The canteen is also quite good with fresh and hot food.

Overall its a good uni, i get good support from my teachers and peers. There are also many on campus cafes and places to study. I like my professors and feel hopeful for my career prospects. Waiting to see how they deal with covid-19 teaching.
