LSE LSE LSE, and I have spent my fourth year here. I would say the uni experience is quite different for everyone depending on your degree, and more importantly, the people around you. I am lucky enough to be in the one of the more diligent departments and have made good friends with people of similar interest with me. Even LSE does get terrible reviews on its teaching quality, I don’t think it is true, mostly just uneven. Either people have their expectations too high, or because they are in those ‘poorer quality’ departments. THE PEER PRESSURE IS REAL. As the title of this review says, the pressure is real but it will also push you to your best. You simply can’t ignore everyone else’s strong academic efforts as well as their obsession with career. Nevertheless, you will get support as much as you required. LSE careers does an excellent job in linking you up with people and opportunities. Overall, I give LSE a 9/10 (not like i know what a 10 means :))
