As a current student at Kingston University London, I can offer an insider’s perspective on my experience so far.

The university’s location in Kingston upon Thames is quite pleasant. It’s a charming suburban area with a nice balance of urban amenities and green spaces. The proximity to central London (about 30 minutes by train) is a major plus, offering easy access to the city’s cultural and professional opportunities.

In terms of academics, I’ve found the quality of teaching to be generally good. The faculty in my program (MSc Marketing & Brand Management) are knowledgeable and often bring real-world experience to their lectures. The modules are well-structured and relevant to current industry trends. I particularly appreciate the emphasis on practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge.

The facilities at Kingston are decent, though not necessarily state-of-the-art. The libraries are well-stocked and provide good study spaces. The IT resources are adequate, with computer labs available across campuses.

One of the strengths of Kingston University is its diverse student body. I’ve had the opportunity to interact with people from various cultural backgrounds, which has enriched my learning experience and broadened my perspective.

The university offers a range of support services, including career guidance and personal tutoring. While these are helpful, sometimes they can be a bit overwhelmed due to high demand.

Student life at Kingston is quite active, with numerous clubs and societies to join. The Student Union organizes various events throughout the year, which helps in building a sense of community.

On the downside, I’ve noticed that some administrative processes can be a bit slow or confusing at times. Also, while the university has multiple campuses, traveling between them can occasionally be inconvenient.

Overall, my experience at Kingston University has been positive. It’s not a top-tier institution, but it offers a solid education, a diverse environment, and good opportunities for personal and professional growth. The university’s connections with local businesses also provide valuable networking opportunities.

As with any university experience, what you get out of it largely depends on what you put in. I’ve found that by being proactive and taking advantage of the resources available, I’ve been able to make the most of my time at Kingston University.

Kingston University offers various opportunities for internships, placements, and career development throughout the coursework through a number of job fairs, enrichment fairs helping students prepare for the workforce. The faculty is available to advice whenever needed and updated resources required in the process

University life has been an incredible journey filled with diverse experiences. One standout aspect is the vast range of courses available, offering a smorgasbord of knowledge to explore. From psychology to physics, there’s something for everyone’s intellectual appetite.

Inclusivity is another highlight of university life. I’ve had the privilege of interacting with people from various backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives. This diversity fosters a rich learning environment, promoting tolerance and broadening horizons.

Great teachers have played a pivotal role in my university experience. Their passion for their subjects and dedication to students’ growth are truly commendable. Their guidance has not only expanded my knowledge but also inspired me to pursue excellence in my academic journey.

Overall, university life’s blend of extensive courses, inclusivity, and exceptional educators has made it a transformative and rewarding experience.

My university is very relaxed. The environment from lecture classes to computer rooms are open. Main library is very nice but too far from my campus (business school). I would recommend this university.

As a student at Kingston University, I have had the opportunity to access a wide range of resources through the School of Arts. One unique aspect of the university is the creative freedom and cross-disciplinary collaboration that is encouraged, which has allowed me to take advantage of a variety of facilities such as the photography studio, film studio, and printmaking and laser cutting equipment. These resources have provided me with the ability to bring even the most ambitious project ideas to fruition. The wide range of facilities and support for creative exploration at Kingston University has been a valuable asset in my academic and personal development.

A great place to attend if you want the most out of your university life! Its further away from the hustle and bustle but very easy to get into central! The benefit of going to a London university which is further outside central is that you escape all the big city noise, whilst still being able to access it whenever you want! This way you can ensure you perform well in your studies at the same time as having fun!

Kingston University’s curriculum is very reasonable. Although for some majors, the academic pressure is relatively high, but overall, its courses are very valuable. The learning atmosphere at Kingston University is also very strong. The location of this university is very good, but the tuition fee is not high. I highly recommend Kingston University.

Kingston is a great university with an array of incredible courses which meet the needs of many students. The university’s facilities and resources are industry standard and the staff really help you.

Upon enrolment at Kingston University I instantly knew I was going to fit in – it’s hard not to! It’s such a friendly and diverse University overall – across all of their four campuses. You instantly are welcomed to the community throughout an amazing week of freshers activities and workshops. My journey throughout my past two years at Kingston has been nothing short of amazing. I have succeeded in my studies, professionally and gained excellent work experience as a Student Ambassador too. The opportunities the University offers are endless and second to none. All lecturers are helpful and supportive and have mountains of experience and knowledge for students to learn from! Overall I cannot commend this University highly enough and would definitely recommend prospective students with Kingston as their options to go to their open days and really consider Kingston as their first options!
