As a student at King’s College London, I have had the privilege of experiencing a transformative education that has exceeded my expectations in numerous ways. From the moment I stepped onto the vibrant campus, I was captivated by the rich history and academic excellence that permeates every aspect of the institution.
One of the standout aspects of my study experience at King’s College London is the exceptional faculty. The professors are not only experts in their respective fields but also passionate educators who go above and beyond to nurture intellectual curiosity and critical thinking among students. Their dedication to teaching and mentorship has been instrumental in shaping my academic growth and instilling a lifelong love for learning.
The university’s commitment to research and innovation is palpable, providing students with unparalleled opportunities to engage in groundbreaking projects and contribute to cutting-edge discoveries. The resources and facilities available for research are world-class, empowering students to explore their interests and make meaningful contributions to their fields of study.
The diversity and inclusivity at King’s College London are truly remarkable. Interacting with a multicultural community of students from all corners of the globe has broadened my horizons and enriched my perspective. The university fosters an environment of respect, tolerance, and open dialogue, creating a truly global learning experience.
Moreover, the extracurricular activities and societies at King’s College London are abundant and cater to a wide range of interests. Whether it’s participating in sports, joining cultural clubs, or engaging in community service, there is something for everyone. These opportunities have allowed me to develop valuable skills, form lifelong friendships, and create lasting memories.
View moreAs an international student, I love the diversity in King’s as it feels like home. It moreover is situated in one of the best cities in the world, and you have access to so many resources like talks and lectures by great thinking leaders. However, the admin staff in terms of communication are really slow.
View moreMy programme included theoretical and practical Media related modules, and has helped me acquire strong communication skills, among other pragmatic knowledge related to technology, such as marketing, programming and digital design. My College offers students an international academic experience, gathering students from various countries and continents. Expectations regarding my future career involve the knowledge acquired throughout my three years at King’s as well as following a Marketing Master’s Degree at King’s to specialise in this field.
View moreWhat I liked about King’s College London apart from its diversity and internationality was that the whole college community ensures that students are comfortable and facilitate them with professional and personal opportunities of growth and development, including numerous amount of resources for us to perform our best. I would definitely recommend this college to future prospects as I have already learnt more than I could’ve imagined in the one year I spent there till now and look forward to the next 2 years I have left
View moreKing’s College is very highly rated, it is in the heart of London, and so naturally it is chaotic. I am doing my MA, having done a BA in another russell-group university. Compared to that experience, King’s does feel very impersonal and does not appear to take its students concerns seriously. Marking is disorganised and late—content and teaching is good, but it is more the organisation of it all which is disappointing.
View moreI love King’s College London for the technologies that it provides in my Digital Technologies department and constant help if I need it – I can always contact my lecture/seminar leaders about my essays or logistics questions and the personal 1 to 1 hour is easily allocated even with short notice.
View moreHaving moved into London 12 days ago and just started university at King’s College London, I can proudly say that I am so grateful for the choice I’ve made to come here and the road that is awaiting me ahead. Settling in has been so easy, I have been approached by different members of staff, students, cooking staff, security guards etc. around the university and have been asked if I need help on a daily basis. For a week of lecture, I have found out that professors seem into their job, prepared to teach and willing to help; the facilities of King’s College are great with numerous events going on every single day so that one does not get bored, especially important for first year students. Obviously, living in London is quite expensive and this is the only reason to rate value 4/5, simply because I don’t yet know what lays ahead after graduating in 2021.
Thank you to everyone at KCL for making these 12 days the best introduction days I could ask for!
