Glasgow Caledonian University is a great university to attend. It is right in the city centre of Glasgow so it’s easily accessible and you’ll find a lot of amazing opportunities and placements within. Not to mention the high class facilities and teaching within each department and the vocational eduction side of things is very informative. What I liked about the university is that it is very welcoming and everyone there is very friendly. I liked my Media and Communications course and the lecturers did everything in their stride to make you the best version of yourself and give you all the experiences and knowledge to set you up for future success. Within the department itself the facilities were immaculate – studios, high class quality equipment (Macs, cameras etc). I liked that there was both practical on campus sessions and online lectures as it gives you a sense of remote learning but also hands on experience. I would recommend this university and course to anyone that wants to go to university and have the perfect university experience as I was highly satisfied myself and I’ve got a lot out of my time there as a student.

It’s got good lectures and facilities. It is strategically located in the city centre of Glasgow. The course I’m doing has been broken down into understandable modules which makes things easy. I love it.

I am from the African Leadership Campus in Mauritius, but my degree is from Glasgow Caledonian University (London). Some of my modules are delivered online, while others are delivered in person. Both online and physical modules appeal to me. My lectures are informative and well-researched. They ensure that every student is paying attention in class. My emotional and mental health have improved as a result of the student life team, who have always been there for me. The stress-relieving activities organized by student life were excellent. Peer counsellors have also been extremely helpful.

I study at African Leadership College which is accredited by Glasgow Caledonian University. The program I am enrolled in is in line with my career path and it is actually amazing. During the first year, you get to immerse yourself in a leadership program that will enhance your real-life experiences and much more. The student life is great and you get o to have work-study opportunities where you can partly study and work.

As an undergraduate student currently attending the African Leadership University(ALU) being accredited by Glasgow Caledonian University, I can attest that the quality and style of learning have foregone all other traditional methods of tertiary education provided by institutions. To begin with, students are exposed to an entrepreneurial mindset from the start by undertaking the Leadership Core program for their first year and then moving on to their degrees in their second year. This not only prepares the students to face real-world problems at an early step but also develops a problem solving and analytical mindset in them. Where the school’s motto majorly emphasizes ‘Missions not Majors’, ALU is the perfect place to foster generational change to modern-day educational needs among students.

I had a time at GCU I would never change, loved Glasgow and really enjoyed the GCU set up and course, can’t believe how quick it went by, the course itself was very useful and has opened a number of doors to kick start my career.

Glasgow Caledonian University offers a great study-life balance. Lectures and labs are spread out evenly across the week and you have a variety of course choices after the second year. The university is located in the city centre which makes it easy to travel to and keeps you close to supermarkets, gyms and other amenities.

The programme was one of the only focusing on Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking in the UK. The skills learned helped me with my future career progression and were proved to be exactly what employers were looking for. The programme is well structured and ensures that graduates have a deep understanding of modern cyberattacks, preventive and detective methods. The university has really good facilities, good food in the canteen, a massive library, a 24h study room, and a gym. Around the campus, you always feel safe and the people I have met were some of the smartest and nicest folks. The university supports diversity and you will always find people from different backgrounds. Overall I am extremely satisfied with my experience at GCU.
