Very organised. I was exposed to the latest cutting edge tools in engineering and despite the pandemic, the university managed to accommodate us in so that we never missed out a chance to experience classroom learning and practical laboratory sessions
View moreI am a masters student doing MSc in Automobile Engineering at Loughborough University. The United Kingdom is known for its High education standard, excellent career opportunities and inclusive environment. I believe the UK is the education hub and heart of the automotive sector. Advanced topics like hybrid powertrain, autonomous vehicles, along with vehicle performance, aerodynamics are taught during the MSc Automotive Engineering course at Loughborough university providing broad-based and sound education in automotive engineering. The very fact that the course is designed in partnership with
industrial giants like Ford motors and JLR, access to the test track i.e. Horiba MIRA which is part of Europe’s largest transport research makes it the best exposure. You will be surrounded by a highly research-oriented environment, upgraded facilities with excellent career prospects in future.
The campus is one of the largest in the UK and it has so much to offer. The facilities are amazing and the student experience overall was a really good one. Additionally, the teaching staff are very knowledgeable and supportive and the online resources that are available to students were very helpful while working on my courseworks and dissertation.
View moreThe best years of my life were at Loughborough. Surrounded by great athletes and a campus full of sports facilities, it was hard not to keep active.
Although the course was tough for the most part, what made things bearable were the endless activities on campus as well as the diverse societies where life-long friendships began.
Throughout my course, I gained a lot of exposure to global companies and was lucky enough to get sponsored by my placement employer to complete my studies.
Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better student life and wish I could go back and do it all over again. The key is to engage, as much as possible, in what the university and union have to offer!
The support and activities available are outstanding. There are plenty of sports activities available, such as football, netball, rugby etc and a lot of academic support available to students no matter the degree being studied
View moreSports Clubs are very numerous and offer high quality coaching coaching as well as great social events.
Societies are just as good and allow to meet many different people very easily through common interests.
