Studying at Leeds Beckett University was a truly transformative experience for me. As a master’s student in Project Management, I found the course to be well-structured, practical, and aligned with real-world industry needs. The faculty was supportive, and many of them brought valuable professional experience into the classroom, which made learning more engaging and applicable.

One of the highlights was the diverse student body — I got to connect with people from all over the world, which broadened my perspective and enriched both academic discussions and social life. The university campus had great facilities, especially the library and study areas, which made it easy to stay focused and productive.

Living in Leeds was also a plus. It’s a vibrant student city, affordable compared to other parts of the UK, and full of culture, nightlife, and green spaces. I also worked as an auditor in a hotel during my time there, which added to my experience and helped me build a solid work ethic.

Overall, Leeds Beckett played a big role in shaping my professional and personal growth. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a practical, multicultural, and well-rounded academic experience in the UK.

Because of the current situation, I had to start my course online, which actually required me more effort to hear focus on the lessons. I think that the university should put more effort to improve distance learning. I wasn’t able to hear the professors clearly and also during the lessons, as there were people in the class and others attending via Microsoft teams, the distance learners were not able to ask questions during class, we were only listeners.
