I was struggling to select a university at first but after visiting Lancaster and being introduced to their collegiate system and more specifically the psychology course I knew it was the right fit. They offer an excellent combination of in person and online teaching which allows more freedom in the way course content is consumed.
View moreThe content of this course is very thorough, cutting-edge, and very applicable to the world around us. The optional modules are wide-ranging and the dissertation topic is flexible so I could follow my research passions. In addition, the statistical modules have helped me grow in confidence with my statistical skills, and the lecturers have been nothing but supportive throughout. They’re receptive to feedback and it is clear that they want to improve for future students.
View moreThere has been a good mix between in-person and online teaching making it a more flexible approach to learning. I have received a lot of guidance on how my course is structured and where to go if any extra support is required.
View moreThis university is great and has a beautiful campus. It is set just outside of the city so allows you to feel a little bit disconnected from everything but at the same time, it’s only a 10-minute journey away.
View moreHonestly, I couldn’t pick a University. I was struggling. Lancaster is campus based and 20 minutes from town so I wasn’t sure- but you get used to it! You can also live in town in 2/3 year. Everyone is super lovely but I couldn’t recommend it enough if it’s got the course you want. All my lectures feel like TED talks, the lecturers are brilliant. It’s the reason I love the uni so much, the modules are fascinating and the seminars/ teaching is brill. It’s easy to feel at home when there.
View moreLancaster University holds a special place in my heart. I’ve met so many wonderful friends there. The quality of teaching is of a really high standard, and the lectures are enjoyable. There is plenty of part-time work available and volunteering opportunities to boost your CV. A truly lovely place that I will miss dearly.
