Student review [#13540] for Applied Medical Sciences
at Imperial College London

I am currently a master’s student at Imperial and am overall enjoying my course. I have been provided with extensive teaching and assessment which has challenged but has not been unbearable and there is a large student hub for social opportunities and bars for socialising. I’ve had the opportunity for teaching from world-renowned scientists and additionally, the course has provided variety regarding learning,e.g field trips and start-up workshops However feedback can be quite lacking and there have been some issues receiving marks on time. The tuition fee payment is also ridiculous as we are charged interest if we pay the fees in 3 sums instead of one whole payment. The course is already expensive enough originally so I don’t see why they need more money from me. The campuses themselves also lack green space and a lack of community feel however I understand its hard to establish this being a city university.
