at Heriot-Watt University - HW

From the staff to the students Heriot-Watt university has a very friendly and welcoming community. Education wise they offer us some of the best quality material and access to thousands of resources. All of my lecturers have been very well experienced. I study psychology so I can only speak for my department but I can’t say I’ve heard any complaints from any of my friends in other departments. I study in the Dubai campus and I wish we had more facilities and equipment as in the main campus in the uk and that’s one way I’d say the Dubai campus runs short. However they constantly listen and try to provide solutions to student requests. The student council is also constantly trying to engage the students in a variety of social activities because afterall university is more than just formal education our social lives are of an equal importantance. Overall I am very satisfied with the university and I proudly carry the name everywhere I go
