The University of Surrey provides great opportunities to explore yourself. They have great faculties and more than that the student-teacher connection is great. All the professors and university staff are very helpful in nature and treat you in the best possible manner. However, sometimes I feel that the library could get overwhelmed for a brief period during exams and submissions.

Surrey university has a very friendly campus. The lecturers are very welcoming and friendly and are always there to talk you through issues you have or direct you in the right direction. (Speaking for my subject of law). The campus is really pretty, especially when it’s sunny with the lake. However, the university can be a bit disorganised and late at times when it comes to releasing information like timetables, events etc. This is one thing I think they should improve on. Other than that it is a lovely university with great staff and a great campus.

It was a great experience studying at the University of Surrey. The course could have more classes and practical situation. More labs sessions could have helped a lot of students and overall the university has a lot of facilities.

At the time, my parents told me to choose Surrey. I chose Surrey because I knew there was a lot of support for summers and internships. The reality is that I had to work for financial reasons. My parents couldn’t help me, nor did I want to overwhelm them. The reality is that without the internship program in Surrey I would not have been able to complete the course

If you are undecided whether to go to Surrey or not. Go to Surrey. I went there and loved it. Surrey is an amazing university full of bright and friendly people. I studied at Cambridge for a Masters and Oxford for a PhD and I can say I preferred studying in Surrey a thousand times more. I felt like there was a lot more help out there

If you are trying to decide between Surrey or a Russel Group uni just because someone told you that Russel Goup is like Ivy league then choose Surrey. The Russel Group is probably the most stupid “standard of quality” I ever heard.

Surrey has some amazing facilities. The university has a 80 million pound gym facilities, a 5 floors main library, 3 study buildings (My Surrey Hive, My Surrey Nest and My Surrey Spark best rooms you will see in a UK uni). And individual private rooms for most subjects where students go mostly in a exam season

The university itself is amazing. The campus is much better than the average English university. The lake makes college much more enjoyable. The atmosphere is also good, people are always very friendly

I completed my degree in Surrey and an MA at Imperial. I can say with 100% certainty that Surrey give Imperial a 10-0. The teachers in Surrey really want to hear from you and it’s only natural that you keep in touch with some of them over the years.

I like this university very much. I chose the internship program but became a big fan of the academic environment. I became friends with Professor Joao Santos Silva, who is undoubtedly the best professor in the world
