Since most courses were online, the support that the UofG gave was beyond my expectations of online classes. I learned to communicate in each and every module that I had. What I mean is that you have the chance to ask if you feel lost along the way. My supervisor specifically was very understanding and patient with me. I learned that sometimes we shouldn’t aim to perfect (even though necessary), but again, you need to learn in the process of perfecting something. I developed as a person and as a researcher. Naturally, I am shy, but through continuous engagement with my group members and tutor, I gained confidence in myself when it comes to expressing myself. This journey was and is still amazing!! If I could, I would do this again since now covid-19 seems to be vanishing if not maintained.

After graduation, you feel completely ready to start the field. Sometimes you feel overwhelmed throughout the course because it is heavily scheduled with lots of assignments and to-do lists but they create a very strong foundation. From 1st year to 4th year, it is a once in a lifetime experience.

The School of Medicine provides opportunities to do high quality research. Great lab, nice and friendly clinical staff and very responsive research team. Publications are guaranteed. Definitely recommend!

The University of Glasgow provides a teaching environment very well adapted to the students’ needs and requirements and always considers and implements changes proposed by students. The teaching methods and materials are constantly reviewed and are fine-tuned to help the student as much as possible, without hindering the independence of the learning process. The university’s facilities are amazing, they offer incredible opportunities for all students. The student organizations, clubs, and societies are very active, very prominently present in the students’ lives and represent their interests fairly, while also providing plenty of opportunities for social interaction, mental healthcare, educational support.
