Heriot-Watt has a history of producing one of the top professionals in any field across Scotland. The Edinburgh Campus, located on the west end of the city, provides a breathtaking view of Pentland Hills combined with its greenery, making an ideal environment for students to spend time whilst they go through a significant development of their professional transformation. The campus provides accessibility to Oriam Sports Performance Center, one of the country’s top gyms with highly equipped sports facilities giving students to experience time other than just their studies. The Faculty, on the other hand, particularly of Edinburgh Business School, provides insight from academic research to professional experiences, allowing students to gain necessary skills before they embark on their desired careers. However, lately, due to strikes, most of the lectures have been cancelled, which has raised concern amongst the students on whether or not, it is an investment worth it to join the university, but this applies to all universities. Still, it is how the university deals with the problem. This is where the management might have failed to accommodate many students, affecting their grades, particularly the international students. Therefore, I believe significant consideration should be aimed towards international students since their performance may affect their visa status, which can further stress the community of international students.

Studying with international cohort of students and developing an interpersonal skills is absolutely an edge to stand out in the real economic world, Heriot-Watt University builds you for this. Students coming from diverse backgrounds with lots of experience they had, around the world makes us the person for fast moving world of today.

It was an amazing experience in this University. They gave the best way to deal with all the contents provided pertaining to various subjects. I would definitely recommend this University to the upcoming students.

Heriot watt university is the best decision I have ever made to get in, its campus and the people in the university are very beautiful. I learned a lot many things regarding my course from the university which helped me gain the best knowledge.

The group study assignments for 4 courses were very good to study in a group and get to know each other. The courses taught by prof were of high quality and the assessment methods were very relevant to the course structure.

The University offers a good balance between the academic and social life for students. The various activities and events offer students an opportunity to showcase their talents whereas, the exception course outlines helps students do explore areas through research and learning via group presentations and case studies.

I like that this university has a very strong curriculum and allows us to have an abundance of knowledge. I think that through independent learning, we are able to feel more responsible for the work we obtain and put into our assignments, instead of being spoon-fed the knowledge.

Good university overall. Great people, good staff. Student Council could be a little more approachable and work minded. Staff could be a little more friendlier. Nice atmosphere. Small yet functional infrastructure.
