I was struggling to find the right graphic design course until I came across the Creative Design School. Straight away, I realised this was the perfect course for me. I was looking for a course I could do online that was flexible and would work around my everyday life. I was impressed by the modules and what they covered, and that you get one-to-one tutor support throughout the course. I also needed help with building a professional portfolio, which this course covered.

The one-to-one tutorials are perfect for someone, like me, who is starting with no experience in this field. I really enjoyed my Graphic Design Level 2 course and even signed up to another course with CDS when it was finished.

The modules were interesting and varied and my tutor Pete was extremely helpful and patient in taking me through the course. The one-on-one time you get with CDS is something not a lot of other courses seemed to offer. Pete provided me with really valuable insights and tailored our tutor sessions to my time, progress and interests as well as the areas in which I needed extra help.

It was great to see the progress I made over the months I was studying and I really appreciated the flexibility of the course which enabled me to work at my own pace and around other commitments. I started my Advanced Graphic Design Course after going to university. I studied in more of a Fine Art background, so I felt it would be useful for me to actually get a qualification in the work that I was already doing as a graphic designer in order to feel more confident in myself and my decisions.
It got all that and then some! I never really thought it would be possible to feel great about every project I do now but I really do, because I figured out my process as part of this course. Now things are less subjective – making me more comfortable with my decision making and the client happier too.

Creative Design School (CDS) could not have been a more perfect fit for my plan to embark on a career change to graphic design. The key factors that lead to me enrolling on their Graphic Design Level 2 course was the flexibility of the course (allowing me to work full-time whilst studying), the reasonable course fee and a friendly, no-pressure Skype with the school to explain my situation and see if this would work for me.

The course covers the key principles of graphic design and each module presents real-life scenario tasks that build up your portfolio while learning at the same time. I’ve surprised myself at how my skills have developed as I complete each module.

Completing the Become a Freelancer short course was an excellent decision, helping to boost my confidence and gain valuable knowledge into the creative freelancing lifestyle.

Pete was a fantastic tutor and guided me through a selection of research based projects that have emboldened me to take the necessary steps in freelancing. He replied to any questions quickly and got me thinking about avenues I hadn’t previously considered.

The course is suitable for anybody who wants to work in the creative industries. I’m a digital illustrator, but I can see the course being applicable for a range of artists and designers. The course was broken down into easy to understand modules with a project at the end of each. I kept a journal to track my progress and finalised a business plan once all the modules were completed.

Six years ago I completed both the Advanced Graphic Design course and the Visual Communication one at Creative Design School International, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of exceptional.

My educational journey with the Creative Design School has been a transformative experience.
