The university of cambridge is wonderful, professors at are committed to helping students succeed. They are available and willing to provide individualized assistance whenever needed. The college has a stellar reputation and provides many opportunities for students to excel. It is a highly respected institution with a strong support system.

Before joining the University of Cambridge, the whole system sounded incredibly intimidating. Meeting one-on-one with some of the world’s most distinguished academics and research pioneers initially seemed like a stressful experience. The freedom to choose my own texts and essay topics sounded like immense pressure. Writing multiple essays per week seemed like a recipe for insomnia.

However, none of these pre-conceptions that I held came to pass. The opportunity to hear first-hand from quite literally the best in the world is a once in a lifetime opportunity. You get to be a part of research and ideas that will shape our future world. Getting to personalise your academy experience enables you to grow not only as a student but an independent person too. Furthermore, learning to work under pressure makes it so much easier once you enter the working world.

Cambridge University: The courses exceeded my expectations in terms of intellectual stimulation. World-class instructors were friendly and approachable. The campus provided an environment that is encouraging for superior academic performance with a supportive environment. I highly recommend it for a life-changing educational experience.

This university is filled with high quality professors who are just what I was looking for in my studies. My classmates are great but in the beginning I will say it was tough making friends due to the high number of students per class. There are quite a few international students which is great!

The university itself is very prestigious and it is worth going to this university as they provide sufficient support and advice. I also think it’s academically successful and would recommend it to others!

I love this college a lot, it is in a great location near London and the student life is great. I highly recommend this college. This course can be hard but the professors help a lot and help make it easier.

I had a fantastic three years at Cambridge and couldn’t recommend it enough.
There is a focus on small group teaching and weekly one-to-one supervisions as well, which is a great opportunity.
There’s something for everyone outside academia too.
I think the attitude to pastoral care and mental health could have been better as it was essentially “sink or swim”, but that was 6 years ago so things have probably improved.

I studied English at Cambridge and had the most amazing three years. People often have an opinion of Cambridge as a fusty old place where your lecturers are strict, old-fashioned and high and mighty – but this couldn’t be farther from the truth. You might get the odd character, but most of the staff at the university genuinely want to nurture their students and see them achieve their potential. Yes, they can demand a lot, but they know what their students can achieve – and want to make sure they rise to the challenge.

I felt so privileged to study at Cambridge. Though my supervisors were academically awe-inspiring, they made me feel like an equal, and always listened carefully to my viewpoints. I got the opportunity to be very experimental with the topics I chose. Though the English degree is traditional in some senses, it is the most open and broad degree imaginable – with virtually no set texts. I got to choose almost everything I wrote about and scope out my own essays. It was tough – but so rewarding.

Aside from academics, I loved the place itself. It is a wonderful town in which to be a student. Lots of other students, small and friendly, full of history and culture – Cambridge has it all. It’s packed with things to do, but is also compact enough not to be overwhelming for students away from home for the first time. There are also lots of social opportunities that come with the college system, and one of the perks of living in college was getting basically live with all my friends for all three years.

I couldn’t recommend Cambridge more. It can be hard, and it can be overwhelming at times, but it is truly a wonderful experience.

At Ridley Hall, I was in the summer of 2002 learning English, I sent my company to be an American multinational company and because of the need of the job that a future had to occupy, we just did a level exam and like almost all Spaniards The level of reading, writing and grammar was more than acceptable, but the level of speaking and Listening was very low, with the lime put me at an intermediate level and less bad, since in the class we were a maximum of 8 people and Each of different nationalities, so if you did not understand something you had to say everything in English, any comment had to be done in English since it was the only language that everyone (even a little) could talk, even the teacher only I know English, I think it’s a great way to learn English.
