For anyone thinking of studying International Development and Sociology in Sussex University as a BA, here is my take on things:
The course does an amazing job at blending social theories with real word issues for example: Inequality, poverty and global development etc.
The professors are extremely helpful and give great advice as well as one to one session to help students that may have some struggles with some modules in the course.
My only cons is, is that due to Sussex University being the number one Uni for International Development and also being fairly high in ranking for Sociology the work load can be a pain but the University have a fantastic support system for this.

Within academia, the International Development School has provided a platform for my professional & academic growth. Outside of academia, the campus is suited to sports enthusiasts like myself. I’ve had the privilege of representing the University Soccer team & using the fantastic sports facilities. The campus is accessible, close to the main city of Brighton & most importantly, it’s very safe. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this period, I’d recommend it to others.
