Sussex is good in terms of content but can be overwhelming I think they should have a universal framework for all modules so it is not confusing and students can organise their time more efficiently and perform better.
View moreThe ways in which my programme and the University in general need to be examined holistically. Given the stress and unfortunate events of the pandemic, the university, much like many others have suffered to clearly articulate the ways in which it will help their students during these unprecedented times. I can speak on several experiences from many of my peers from different disciplines. From one aspect, some of my peers were lucky enough to have really kind and attentive lecturers who provided good feedback throughout the duration of their course as great as possible given the difficulties of the pandemic. On the other hand, some of my other peers were aware that there were communication issues between the students. For instance, it took several months for the university to sort out a no detriment policy. Further, the university was persistent on the message for caring for his students, however contradictory emails, coupled with no action to take care of his students, the experience wasn’t given for the price I paid to go to the university.
