My experience with the University of Brighton is extremely positive. I believe this university focused wholly on its student experience. My course, Film (BA) is well played out, has focuses in every area of film and sets each student up to have a wide range of experience when graduating. There is plenty of equipment throughout each campus for every course. I have never felt unequipped to take on a project and I have built experience with almost all of the equipment the university has to offer. Additionally, each member of staff is friendly, caring and consistent. They are always there to support their students, provide advice and communicate. Moreover, I am always surrounded by people on my, and similar courses. This builds my motivation and support network as many have similar projects and deadlines, helping us all to work together and support one another. Brighton itself is a friendly, sunny and busy city that is not as expensive as people say. There is plenty of student deals and support, making it a comfortable city to live in. Moreover, there are plenty of societies and competitions to take part in, plenty of student jobs and volunteering opportunities with a large amount of staff to support these. It is an excellent establishment in every way.
