Bournemouth University is really amazing to study media. It offers great facilities, such as green screen studios, post-production suites and radio studios. Also, it gives a student access to great equipment. Most units were very practical, which I really enjoyed. Also, working as a team on several projects.
First and second year was really great. However, my experience changed in second semester.
Only disadvantage for me was studying during corona virus pandemic, when we were not allowed to use any of the facilities or equipment from kit room. Most classes were virtual and many graduation students were disadvantaged as we were allowed to film outside only in our own accommodation.
Although it was very challenging time, I was very pleased with the result. My project was nominated at London Music Video festival.
If I could choose to study in Bournemouth again, I definitely would.
View moreI felt that there was a real sense of belonging at the University, the Student Union were always so helpful and there were societies/clubs/networks for everyone which created a great community amongst the students. Leaders and lecturers always made it clear that help was available and always communicated properly which helped with both studies and personal reasons
