I highly recommend the University of Birmingham. I think the school environment is very friendly to international students. I was able to get guidance and help from students in the school. I was also able to get support and guidance from the professional team on my career path. I would recommend the University of Birmingham to first-time international students and Masters students.

The university provides us with all sortes of supports such as library access, as well as little groups for each subject for projects and tutorials, which are both good and efficient for the process of studying. This alos allows students to get to know more about each other thus increasing cooperation opportunities between each other and progress on each other’s studies.

Studying business management in university of Birmingham gives me a broad overview of the business world. The uni provides an all rounded curriculum which let me to balance my lectures and university life. Also, the programme includes networking activities with practitioners all across the business fields. I am able to gain knowledge while participating in different extra curriculum activities as such being an executive commitee of Birmingham Hong Kong Public Affairs and Social Services Society. Overall speaking, it is a comprehensive programme to study for.

As an international student who has never been away from home till now, I was nervous about my move to the new country. But the university made the transition smooth for me. Their pre-arrival zoom sessions briefing about what an international student needs to survive in the country and what they can expect in the coming months kept me from the initial shock of the sudden change of environment. The university also organises many mixers that help students network and make friends throughout the study period. The professors pay personal attention to every student and make sure our queries are solved with patience. The only part missing is the practicality of the topics studied, infusion of real-life scenarios in the study would be more useful.
