Lecturers, seminar leads are really helpful and are always available if you have any questions, no question is too small!
They are willing to help you with anything in order to help you succeed.
Societies / uni events are a great way to make new friends if you’re antisocial/introverted
Having friends on your course, I’m lucky to have them from secondary and sixth form which helps to work together if you’re ever struggling and are my first point of call to see if they know before going to seminar leads/lecturers.
I would definitely recommend this university.

This proved to be challenging to say the least, with no safe haven of library space or tutor-support drafting and finalising a dissertation grew to be a looming, daunting task to tackle by myself. Birmingham City University tried their hardest to provide students with feedback when requested and also helped with ensuring that materials were posted to Moodle on time as they had been during the first year, before the pandemic struck. However, the lack of inter-personal relationships and checkins with tutors made the course feel isolating and assimilar to taking a course from The Open University.

Especially with my PCET course, the lecturers encourage any and all questions and always are the first to try to help out any students who are struggling. They are providing a great learning environment.
