It was a fantastic university at the heart of birmingham. Met lots of like minded people and my best friend here! The course was fantastic and lots of insight and opportunities provided for my chosen career. Would highly recommend this university.

The university was excellent all lecturers were helpful and the resources available were up to date and good.
I especially enjoyed the social aspect of Aston University, there were always extra-curricular clubs available!

Carrying out a master’s at Aston University was a great experience. There were students from many walks of life and lots of international students so it was a great way to mix with people of all different backgrounds.
The course content was good, and whilst the first year was challenging, it built on the foundations needed to be able to do this degree. The lecturers were easy to approach and knowledgeable. You never felt like you could not reach out to them if needed which is what I valued the most as I always felt supported. The group of friends I made also gave me that support and vice versa and they are still my friends to this day.
The University was close to the city so we would spend time in the centre together, getting to know each other and making form friendships. I hold these memories very dear and feel that life at this University helped make me the person I am today and will help future students also.

I love the facilities available for pharmacy students as they aid our learning in workshops. They make it very engaging and are able to apply what we have learnt in the lectures. Lecturers have been very supportive throughout the lockdown period.

Aston is nice small campus. Easy to get around from lecture rooms.It is placed well in birmingham very central to everything a student needs. The lecturers vary from course to course, but as a whole they seem very disorganised in comparison to other Unis and always very late with giving announcements and results. Pharmacy lecturers are the worst! They give late replies and aren’t helpful whatsoever! Aston is decent but could improve thoroughly. MB is so old and could do with renovation.
