I started my postgraduate computer science degree at the University of London in September 2020. I had been very excited to start the course, and prior to applying, I had hoped that it would be on campus because I wanted a real university experience. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my university courses have been moved online, and I have had to adjust my expectations Sadly, because of the COVID pandemic, I could not step foot on campus, let alone live in the accommodations. This had been a huge disappointment to me, and I had to resign myself to the fact that I was not going to be able to experience a physical campus atmosphere. I felt like my university experience had been stunted because of the pandemic, and while this was not technically the university’s fault, it just felt unfortunate. The course was pretty good, and I’d say it’s still a good course I just feel like it was kind of ruined because of the pandemic, but I still love the course and the university.
