View moreI am a student at the University of Bath studying Education, I’ve found the program to be both challenging and incredibly rewarding. The faculty is exceptional—lecturers bring years of practical teaching experience into their lessons, making each class engaging and relevant to real-world teaching scenarios. The course structure strikes a perfect balance between theory and practice, with plenty of opportunities for hands-on learning through placements in local schools. What I appreciate most is the university’s focus on preparing students for diverse classroom environments. The curriculum includes modules on inclusivity and adaptive teaching methods, which are crucial in today’s educational landscape. These elements have helped me develop the skills needed to meet the varied needs of students in different educational settings. The campus itself is beautiful, offering a blend of modern facilities and green spaces that create a peaceful atmosphere for studying or unwinding between classes. The university’s location, surrounded by the scenic beauty of Bath, is an added bonus, providing a calm and inspiring environment. Tuition fees are competitive when compared to other institutions in the UK, making it an accessible option without compromising on quality.
View moreDoing education with psychology I was eased into the jump into university and was made aware that we had support surrounding us if we ever needed it. I feel extremely comfortable I lectures to speak up and discuss my opinion as there isn’t a lot of people on the course. 60 in most modules at the moment for my year; This allows it to be easy to have a better understanding of topics and have the ability to debate and question your view and others. I don’t live in the city but it is gorgeous and haven’t found living in another city to prevent me from making friends and socialising. Everyone is eager to make friends so this aspect makes it easy. The university is highly diverse with many people coming from different countries; there is a lot of international students so this allows you to learn about other peoples cultures and it’s so interesting. The feedback for essays is also pretty helpful as many of the lecturers go in depth.
