The university of Bath has provided me with two of the best years of my life so far. The SU is vast and well organised with so many events and societies to get involved in to help make the most friends possible. All the accommodation from the cheapest to most expensive is nice and clean and unlike a lot of other Uni’s doesn’t feel like a prison cell. Services such as the 24hr campus security that can be contacted even when you’re in trouble off campus make me feel safe and truly cared about. I only have experience from the biology department but the labs are large and modern and the library is too. Overall I feel at home on the campus and truly part of a community. A lot of students can struggle in first year with mental health and fitting in but again there are many services in place that are quick and easy to make an appointment with and everyone is provided with a lecturer personal tutor and a peer mentor from an above year, both of which you can go to with any problems!
