It has a friendly environment and everyone was super friendly and always happy to help, which made campus feel like a second home. The lecturers really cared about what they taught and about us as students they were always patient and willing to go the extra mile when we needed support.
I met some amazing people along the way, from classmates to staff, who ended up feeling like family.

There are numerous tools accessible outside of class, such as the library and counseling services, to assist us succeed. The university is full of amazing people who are all working towards the same goal. Being among so many determined people inspires me to attain my full potential and work hard. I’ve had an incredible experience at Bath Spa University.In addition to being passionate about their subjects, educators go above and beyond to assist students achieve.People I’ve met at this institution, from classmates to faculty members, have become like second family to me. When I have difficulty comprehending a notion or completing a task, there is always someone willing to help. Individuals I’ve met here have been very amazing, always willing to provide a helping hand when I was struggling with a difficult notion or assignment.I am extremely glad to be a part of such a steady and imaginative educational community.

Bath Spa University is really fantastic! The lecturers are not only exceptionally knowledgeable, but also incredibly encouraging and helpful, even outside of class hours. They sincerely care about their students’ success and go above and above to offer advice and support.They’re always there to answer questions, provide further resources, and coach you.It produces an incredibly nurturing and stimulating learning environment.

Bath Spa University is an absolute dream for any aspiring artist! The Fine Art program here is incredible. We have amazing studio spaces, inspiring workshops, and lecturers who are not just talented artists themselves, but also passionate about nurturing our creativity. I’m constantly experimenting with new mediums, collaborating with other artists, and pushing my artistic boundaries. Bath Spa truly encourages you to find your own unique voice and style. Plus, being surrounded by the beautiful city of Bath adds another layer of inspiration to my artistic journey. If you’re serious about art, Bath Spa is the place to be!

The underfunded mess doesn’t provide a decent level of education for its students. It is nice looking but is very much a second-rate uni that thrives on handing out unconditional offers to lure people in. At the end of it all, it has poor careers services to help its students go to the next step

The course i chose to attend in ‘Fine Art’ was one of a self directed nature, so it relied heavily on the creation of self directed study. This meant that you were able to have a diversified body of work at the end of study; to be able to put together an exhibition of your work.
I enjoyed this course because of the freedom that it provided to myself in being able to select an area of expertise within ‘Fine Art’.
I very much appreciated the variety of back grounds that the tutor’s had before coming to help us study towards our end of year show.

As a Second Year University Student, I have completed my first year experience at Bath Spa University.
Going from being at school/sixth form 5 days a week for 6 hours a day, to a maximum of 10 hours at university a week, there was a drastic change in the community feel for me whilst in first year.
Apart from befriending the people I lived with I struggled a lot to make any friends outside of my housing due to the little contact time with my peers whilst at University.
There are lots of opportunities to make friends such as societies and extra curricular activities, but for someone with anxiety this can be a daunting option to explore.
The aspect to remember about this possible experience is that we are not alone in feeling like this, I found it hard as I seemed to only see everyone chatting to each other, bonding over everything and anything, however that is often not the case. The view I was seeing was a small glimpse into the majority of students at the University. I wouldn’t see people by themselves as if they were they would most likely be in their room.
It was hard for me and still isn’t always easy, even after the summer break and back in a new house and new environment, going into class can be quite intimidating, however as I take each day at a time I am communicating more with my peers and talking to my lecturers regularly. Whilst also looking more into extra curricular activities and pushing myself out of my comfort zone.

I think that the university has a really good campus and the facilities available are excellent! However the staff and support systems have let us down many times. The technician support with work was amazing!
