My course is solely online so I may have a different opinion to others!
Pros of university that I have seen:
Well resourced, the library has been brilliant and has everything you could need.
Cons:
The lecturers have not been too helpful. I wonder if the course is too broad that they struggle to find content that is appropriate to everyone.
Another con for me is the strict no AI policy. I feel that this soon will be outdated. Instead of banning it completely, training staff and students on how to use it properly would be better because students are using it anyway.
It has a friendly environment and everyone was super friendly and always happy to help, which made campus feel like a second home. The lecturers really cared about what they taught and about us as students they were always patient and willing to go the extra mile when we needed support.
I met some amazing people along the way, from classmates to staff, who ended up feeling like family.
Studying at Bath Spa University was truly transformative for me. The professors were not only passionate but also approachable, always encouraging us to push our creativity further. The campus itself was inspiring—set in a beautiful location that made learning feel fresh and motivating every day.
One of my biggest achievements was having my final-year project showcased in a university exhibition, which gave me the confidence to pursue my career after graduation. The mix of practical learning, supportive staff, and a vibrant student community made my time there unforgettable.
For anyone considering Bath Spa, it’s the perfect place if you want to grow academically while being part of a welcoming, creative environment.
