As anyone who’s grown up in UAE, I was afraid my school and college life would, somewhere along the way, merge into the same drab experience.
But GMU has opened up so many avenues in terms of future prospectives, cultural activities, campus life and the quality of education I receive in general.
All my professors are available anytime I have a question. They listen to us and take our opinions into account. I can talk to most of them even if I have a problem outside of the course content and I like to think my professors are wonderful for doing that even if they don’t have to.
As far as our labs and other facilities go, we do have a few shortcomings, none that are too drastic. The labs are equipped with multiple microscopes and slides along with cadavers and models. Our library, as small as it is, has ample online supply that we can access if we don’t find our recommended readings there (A rare occurrence)
If you want a wholesome experience while learning and understanding at your own pace, GMU is the place for you.
