The area is very convenient, offering a wide range of amenities like restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, a post office, housing, parks, easy access to downtown, libraries, and all the essentials for student life.

Zayed University is recognized for its comprehensive and engaging curriculum, which provides students with a solid educational foundation. However, there are notable areas for improvement that could enhance the student experience significantly. One primary challenge is the shortage of faculty and staff, which affects the availability of courses. This often results in students struggling to enroll in the classes they need, potentially delaying their graduation timelines.

Additionally, there is a significant issue with the course registration system between the men’s and women’s campuses. Despite available seats in classes on the men’s side, women are often unable to register for these courses. This policy creates unnecessary barriers to education and hinders the academic progress of female students. It is particularly perplexing since the classes are not segregated for Minerva students, indicating room for a more inclusive approach.

While the curriculum itself is strong and covers a wide range of subjects, there is an overemphasis on testing rather than assignments. This focus can limit students’ opportunities to apply their knowledge in practical, real-world scenarios. A more balanced approach, incorporating a greater variety of assignments, would not only enrich the learning experience but also better prepare students for future challenges.
