Student review [#9391] for Civil Engineering
at Middle East Technical University - METU

METU İs one of the best universities in Turkey and it was founded at 1956. From 1956 to today, while there are a lot of things to write regarding METU, I just wanna talk about the academic and social environment of this school. Firstly, I would like to mention academic part of METU. This school, which meets the academic needs of students and everyone who wants to benefit from this school is full of academics who are famous for works, books and awards in many fields and also have fluent English. I mean, while METU students are already well-equipped,ın addition to that, academians are also well-equipped and this make metu students more equipped and widen student’s viewpoint. Beside that, laboratories and classrooms meet European standards.__Secondly, METU has a so huge forest and campus which Meet needs of students and because of that, students don’t have to exit from campus to get something. I mean there are lots of building like library, pharmacy, mall, places for ertertainment, dorms shopping buildings and etc… Also there are more than 50 students society and those societies increase the sociability of students and their soft-skills. I hope I could write what I feel. I am so lucky to become part of METU.
