I believe that METU is the leading university of Turkey where there is a free environment and there is no limit for thinking, inventing, searching or expressing ideas. At METU, there is such a peaceful and respectful atmosphere that I feel at home and everybody is my sister and brother. Also, if you lose something, you don’t worry because you know that somebody will take it somewhere safe where you can get it back. With its infinite number of trees, you feel like you are in a camp in a forest. The campus covers 2/3 of Ankara, the capital city of Turkey. You can chat with friends or lie down on the grass reading your novel at enormous DEVRİM (meaning revolution) stadium. After graduation, I will miss METU, but I know that I can always visit my home.
