Middle East technical university is one of the best universities in the region, and the top rated technical university in Turkey.
METU is well distinguished and esteemed. This reputation is what prompted me to apply, and become part of the METU heritage.

METU offers a variety of programmes in various fields such as Engineering, Sciences, Education, and many more.the medium of instruction is English in all of the courses.

Being an international student in METU is quite the experience, not necessarily a positive one.I have quickly came to realise that in order to get by, learning Turkish is a must, even within the classroom. Where almost the entire teaching body are of Turkish nationality, and they naturally switch to Turkish even when making exam corrections, for example.

Being an international indeed comes with its challenges.
