Canakkale 18 March University - COMU (reviews)

As an academic staff, it has quality teachers. It is taught both theoretically and practically. Since Çanakkale is a student city, it has a very social campus. They have cultural events. Teachers can help in every way.

I studied at the Department of English Language and Literature. We had great, knowledgeable, and helpful teachers who had been supporting us throughout our studies. My experience was good in general.

Çanakkale is indeed a very beautiful, readable and livable city. However, as in the rest of Turkey, students are struggling economically. House rents and transportation prices should be reduced.

My department generally has great teachers but some courses could be more relatable. I wish we could improve our speaking abilities with more variable options. Locations are good in general but there could be more cheap options for students

I think that our school is one of the best schools in the area of language teaching. Our teachers are very qualified and they got everything we need. I also mention our city. Çanakkale is the most beautiful city in Turkey and it is the perfect place for students. However unfortunately everything is so expensive 🙁

While the education is good for the most part, I’d prefer our courses to be more dependent on interpreting and commentating on stuff the way we understood them, instead of being taught to repeat what we learned word-for-word. But the educators are generally pretty cool, so it doesn’t phase us that often. Other than that, the transportation I’d say is lacking.

My university is beautiful. It is an excellent university in every respect, including educational opportunities, campus, and activity areas. When you come to campus, there is no chance of not being happy. If you really want to learn something, this university is for you.

The way the lessons are covered is very nice and sufficient. Given the effort put into the students, the school rises to a rank that I can recommend. If we consider the living conditions, it is a somewhat expensive city. Apart from the cost, there is nothing that bothers the education life, the university is already in a beautiful location and a good place.
