KdG University of Applied Sciences and Arts - KdG (reviews)

KDG Antwerp is a very international school with students from all over the world. One of the things I like most is the opportunity to meet people from different cultures, learn about their backgrounds, and share different experiences and perspectives. This creates a diverse and welcoming environment where you can learn not only from your studies but also from the people around you. I think this international atmosphere is one of the biggest advantages of studying at KDG, and I would recommend it to students who enjoy meeting new people and experiencing different cultures.

Overall, my time at KdG has been a really good experience with plenty of variety, and I have learned a huge amount. The school offers great support, excellent facilities, and fantastic opportunities to study abroad or do an international internship.

What really stood out to me were the engaging classes, such as Marketing, International Business, E-commerce, Export/Import, and Business Law. These subjects are extremely interesting because you constantly work with real-world practical situations. Another huge plus is that most professors have their own businesses in these specific fields, allowing them to share their valuable first-hand experience and insights with the students.

My experience at KdG University of Applied Sciences has been very positive. What stood out to me most is the guidance and support the school provides. Whenever something is unclear, students can make appointments with counsellors or contact the appropriate student services for help. KdG also has an intranet where students can easily find important information, which I find very convenient.

The classes can be more or less interesting depending on your personal interests, but overall they give you a broad understanding of international business. I think this is useful because it allows you to explore different areas of business and discover what you personally find most interesting.

Another thing I appreciate is the international focus of the programme. Through guest speakers, networking events, and cross-cultural group projects, students get many opportunities to develop their international and professional skills. Working with students from different backgrounds also makes the learning experience more interesting and practical.

Overall, I think KdG is a good place to study if you are interested in international business and want to explore different areas before deciding what interests you most. The support, international environment, and variety of learning opportunities have made my experience very positive.

Overall, studying at Karel de Grote University provided a solid, practical education with a strong emphasis on real-world projects, team collaboration, and hands-on learning. I particularly liked the modern campus facilities, the supportive and approachable professors, and the focus on actionable, project-based skills that prepare you directly for the professional job market. On the downside, the high volume of assignments and strict deadline schedules could occasionally feel overwhelming, requiring strong time management to stay on top of the workload. I would definitely recommend KdG to prospective students, especially those who thrive in interactive, practical learning environments rather than purely theoretical settings.

I had a very positive experience at KdG University of Applied Sciences and Arts. What I appreciated the most was the strong focus on practical learning. Instead of only studying theory, we worked on projects that reflected real industry challenges, which helped me build valuable skills and a strong portfolio.

The lecturers were knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable. They genuinely wanted students to succeed and were always willing to provide feedback or guidance. I also liked the collaborative environment, where working with classmates from different backgrounds helped develop both technical and communication skills.

If you are looking for a real business experience and course, definitely apply for IBM at KDG. This degree is awesome. Every day, I get to learn new things from different experts and Lectures, and I fall more in love with the business world.

As a second year student in Applied Computer Science, I can share that this is so far my best decision in life, to come here , to develop and make connections. International course allowed me to meet people from all over the world and teachers inspire us to do everyday new step into the technology world

I chose this university because of the Multimedia and Creative Technologies program—something I found to be quite unique. I didn’t come across a similar program anywhere else, and when I looked through the courses, it felt like exactly what I was looking for. It merges technology with marketing and business in a way that’s truly interesting and practical.

So far, my experience has been really positive. The professors are not just knowledgeable but also actively working in the fields they teach, which makes learning feel more relevant and connected to the real world. There’s also a lot of support—any questions I have can easily be answered via email, student services, or the student information point on campus.

Beyond academics, I love how much the university offers in terms of activities and workshops outside the regular curriculum. It’s great to be part of a university that encourages learning and creativity beyond just lectures. Plus, since my program is taught in English, I get to meet people from all over the world, making the whole experience even more exciting.

Honestly, I can’t pick just one favorite thing—I genuinely like everything! But if I had to choose, I’d say the community and the events stand out the most. The university creates an environment where students can connect, collaborate, and grow in ways that go beyond just studying.

If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the cafeteria options. On my campus, the food choices feel a bit limited, especially for vegetarians. But honestly, that’s a small thing compared to everything else the university offers.

Would I recommend this university? Absolutely, 100%! If the kinds of programs offered by this university match your interests, I truly believe this is an amazing place to study, learn, and grow.

As a second year student at KdG I can say with confidence what I like about this university.
The International programs are well-arranged for the newcomers in Belgium.
Teachers are of a high level. With a lot of background in their industry.
