I think about my degree a lot. Academic stuff is not enough. By writing that I meant quantity not quality. I’m in the Faculty of Literature. My faculty is not aesthetically pleasing. We don’t’t have a fully functioning cleaning system at the classrooms and inside the building. It’s different for the outside of the building, though. I love our campus at Beytepe. We have a Valley that is called Yeşil Vadi. Where the ducks go swimming and the frogs growing day by day. You should see the forest. It is therapeutic. Especially during the midterms and the final exams.

I am a Translation and Interpreting In French student in Hacettepe. I had a pretty nice experience during my preparation year learning French we had great teachers and this goes for the overall education in Hacettepe. But there are always problems and irregularities in the systems sometimes it seems like professors and the management of the university just does things without thinking.

Hacettepe is one of the oldest universities in Turkey. First of all, the academic staff is really well-chosen, at least in my own department. When you take courses, you can understand the quality of education given here. Secondly, the Beytepe campus is a campus that everyone likes. When you are on the campus you can be in touch with nature but unfortunately, it is far from the city center. Also the university has different projects for students. Additionally, there are different student clubs you can join. Briefly, Hacettepe University is one of the few schools that meets your expectation in Turkey standards.
