For now, let me start out with the most important thing of all, it can be a deterrent or an attraction regarding your personality, the language barrier. On one hand, this could be a chance to learn a foreign language, on the other if you are not interested, it can become a nightmare. Once past that, the facilities are of the highest standard here at Bilkent, be it the dormitories or the transportation. I am a Management student, and Bilkent is full of opportunities if you choose to interact with them, the academic staff is full of energy and really approachable. The only downside is that even though the university is an English medium one, the majority of the clubs are in the native language (which can be fixed if you learn the language).
View moreI’m studying management science as an undergrad and so far I’ve had a pleasant experience, even as an international. İt’s not easy to break the language barrier in your first days but with time, things do start to open up and you start feeling really comfortable here. The teachers are great, most of the times, and the curriculum too is well planned. Plus, you get to go on an exchange semester.
View moreMy time at Bilkent University has been an enjoyable adventure so far. In terms of academia, majority of the courses I took were stimulating and enjoyable mainly because of how motivating the professors were. Moreover, every opportunity I have come across has enabled me to grow as a person. Bilkent also has a beautiful campus, and I will cherish every memory of the time I’ve spent with the friends I have made here.
