A uni that does not have everything under control.

Don’t get me wrong, it is still a decent university as it is in the Netherlands. Compared to the other university I have studied at here (TU Delft), UU has a lot of shortcomings. Organisation is unclear to say the least. There is a central place to get all your resources, but every teacher uses their own little platform. Also the subjects you need to follow to get your bachelor’s degree are not clear at all (especially not for double bachelor). When coming to the study advisor with a full plan of my subjects, the best I could get was: “yeah, it should be good, but not 100% sure”. Enrolling into subjects is done super far ahead compared to my experience at TU Delft and the retake requirements are very strict (which is not really taking into account the amount of stress students are currently in). Some projects are being returned right before you need to hand in the next one. e-mails sent to course supervisors are sometimes replied in only 2 weeks or sometimes even ignored. The list goes on with my annoyances with UU, I feel like nobody is holding them accountable.
