I chose Hogeschool Utrecht because of its practice-oriented approach, and I was not disappointed. My science and management studies combine technical knowledge with management skills, which offers a unique combination. The projects are realistic and often linked to real companies, which makes learning even more interesting. The atmosphere on campus is open and diverse, with students from different backgrounds. Utrecht itself offers everything you need as a student, from nice cafés to inspiring study places in the city. The only thing that could be improved is the number of available workplaces during exam periods. But overall I am very happy with my choice!

My time at the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (HU) was generally a positive experience. I studied Business Administration and liked that the program had a good balance between theory and practice. The lecturers often have a lot of experience in the field, which gave me valuable insights that went beyond the course material. We worked on case studies of real companies, which I found very educational. The campus is spacious and modern, and there are plenty of facilities such as study rooms and cafés, which makes for a pleasant atmosphere. A downside was that the schedule was sometimes unclear, which meant that I sometimes had to deal with unexpected changes. Nevertheless, I am happy with my choice for the HU, especially because I was able to make many relevant network contacts during my studies that will be valuable in my career.
