As a past student of the business program at the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, I can confidently say it was a life-changing experience. The program had a practical focus, with group projects that mirrored real-world business scenarios. The university’s collaboration with local companies gave me the chance to work on case studies with actual businesses, which was invaluable for building my professional skills. Utrecht itself is a charming student city with picturesque canals and a vibrant social scene. One of the unique aspects of the university was the “Student Entrepreneurs Club,” which encouraged innovation and even provided seed funding for promising ideas. However, the workload could be intense, especially during project weeks, and navigating the Dutch grading system was a challenge at first. That said, the support from professors and peers made it manageable. The skills and connections I gained at HU prepared me well for my career.
